Refrigerator Cookies (the biscuit that came out of the cold)
Sometimes the moment to blog comes a little later than desired. The inspiration isn’t quite there, no matter how those reader stats drop. (In fact, there’s a draft stored away from last night, but due to high twee levels I doubt I’ll be publishing it.) But if you’ll forgive the lack of the demonstrative photo and take it from me that I first tried this recipe – from the divine and much-missed Katie Stewart – around 25 years ago and haven’t found better, here’s a quick instalment for this week that comes from the well-spring of actually wanting to write about something, rather than taking it from the oh I should it’s Monday already catalogue.
